Why are we drawn to certain shapes, people, theories, and spiritual ideals? In this talk, I explore attraction (Sampayutta-paccaya) across matter, mind, consciousness, and Nibbāna. I unpack how sensory beauty works, why attractive ideas aren't always true, and how understanding these patterns helps us move beyond compulsion toward genuine freedom.
