Based on knowledge, there may arise a certain faculty, that can perceive a myriad things at one singular glance.
This faculty may be termed intuition.
It is, when a mind possessed of knowledge, becomes aware of a certain thing, that there becomes possible a synchronising (a-tuning) of the mind with its object of perception. This synchronicity of the mind with its object of perception allows the mind to penetrate ever deeper into the particularities of the object, thus it may perceive a myriad things, where before there appeared a unified object.
Yet the trustworthiness or untrustworthiness of both what is apprehended as well as the interpretation of it through the higher mental faculties, will still depend on a persons general development. That is, a persons knowledge and experience.
Intuitions can be both regarding very concrete things, such as the thought or way of thinking of another, or about abstract things, like an idea of the ultimate nature of things.
Training in a certain sphere will develop a greater power of intuition in regards to that sphere of development.
Thus, for example for a person on a spiritual path, training in virtue, there becomes possible a certain objective intuition in regards to ethical questions, a person training along the line of meditative development, there becomes possible a certain intuition in regards to capacities of the mind, while for a person training along the line of the study of the mind, there becomes possible a certain objective intuition in regards to other peoples and his own mind.
