Buddhist Abhidhamma Philosophy divides all of reality into four ultimate constituents—known as the Four Paramatthas:
Matter (Rūpa), Mind (Cetasika), Consciousness (Citta), and Nibbāna.
In this short video, I offer a concise but practice-oriented explanation of these four fundamental truths—not as abstract theories, but as essential stepping stones on the path toward enlightenment. Whether you’re just beginning to explore Abhidhamma or looking to deepen your meditation practice, this overview may help connect the map of ultimate reality with the terrain of direct experience.
May it be for the benefit of all beings.
