The wisdom of the elements
And their almost sacred dance
Their nature, danger, usefulness,
The need for them for truthfulness
This all here is seeked to get explored
And to an ancient depth restored
Through out the ancient world the concept of the four elements has been used, not only to better understand and classify matter, but indeed for understanding the wholeness of an individual’s experience. This Dhamma talk gives some comprehensive overview over what these four elements are and how they may be used for meditation and for gaining deeper insights into the nature of our own experience.
